Many people, whilst enjoying the social aspects of group instruction, prefer to learn at their own speed and at a time of their own choosing. They can also learn the dances and steps that suit them, or concentrate on one dance only. It’s all down to choice.

At present our solo instructor is Tony, the centre manager - a qualified ballroom dance teacher. This means that until we have a female instructor we can only accommodate female pupils or couples.

Lessons are normally booked during the day from 09.30 to 17.30 hours, Monday to Friday depending on availability of time slots.

We are often asked about suitable footwear for dancing and, apart from genuine dance shoes, which of course are perfect, we recommend comfortable semi-formal day shoes with leather or suitable composite soles to allow some degree of slide. Trainers or similar type shoes are not suitable.
